2. If other XP7 Command View AE products are running, you must stop the associated services
(HBase 64 Storage Mgmt Web Service and HBase 64 Storage Mgmt Common Service) as
described in “Stopping Replication Manager ” on page 88.
3. Execute the following command to re-create a database system on the disk:
In Windows:
Common-Component-installation-folder\sbin\hcmdsdbremake /data-
basepath new-database-recreation-destination-folder
In Linux:
Common-Component-installation-directory/sbin/hcmdsdbremake -data-
basepath new-database-recreation-destination-directory
NOTE:
The hcmdsdbremake command changes the port number used by HiRDB back to the
default (22032). If you are using a port number other than the default, you must reset the
port number after running the command. For details on how to change the port number,
see the
HP XP7 Command View Advanced Edition Administrator Guide
.
4. Execute the following command to register the database contents from step 1 into the database:
In Windows:
Common-Component-installation-folder\sbin\hcmdsdbmove /import /
datapath data-input-and-output-destination-folder
In Linux:
Common-Component-installation-directory/sbin/hcmdsdbmove -import -
datapath data-input-and-output-destination-directory
Transferring the database to a cluster server
When transferring your database to a cluster server, you must adhere to the following conditions:
• Make sure the HP XP7 Command View AE Common Component service is already running.
• In the cluster management application, you must specify the resource name registered when setting
up the cluster resource.
Transferring the database to Windows Server Failover Clustering (WSFC)
The following topics describe the procedures for moving data when Windows Server Failover Clustering
(WSFC) is used. Make sure that before executing a transfer, you adhere to the conditions described
in “Transferring the database to a cluster server” on page 124.
Procedure on the executing node
1. On the executing node, make sure that the HP XP7 Command View AE Common Component
service is online, and that the executing node currently owns the service and shared disk.
