The following four types of HTTP communication routes are also used:
• Between Replication Manager (on the management server) and a Device Manager Agent (on a
pair management server)
• Between Replication Manager (on the management server) and a Business Continuity Manager
(on the host) unless IHS is used.
• Between Replication Manager (on the management server) and XP7 mainframe agent (on the
host).
• Between Replication Manager (on the management server) and Application Agent (on the database
server or backup server).

Common Component and Web browsers
To encrypt communications between HP XP7 Command View Advanced Edition Common Component
on the management server and the Web browser on the management client, you must create a server
certificate for Common Component on the management server and import it into the Web browser
on the management client.
