configured on the host where a tape backup is executed. Refer to the NetBackup image catalog
to check the media label name.

When the -bkdir option is specified, this information is displayed.

When the -v and -o options are specified, this information is displayed.
A hyphen (-) is displayed for any item that cannot be displayed. If none of the items can be displayed,
an error message is displayed.
Each item is separated by a space.
This information provides further details than the backup information for a backup from the secondary
volume to tape. This same information can also be obtained by using the following:
• When the backup is of a file system, use the drmfscat command
• When the backup is of an SQL Server database, use the drmsqlcat command
• When the backup is of an Exchange database, use the drmexgcat command
Arguments
backup-ID
Specify this argument to display the backup information for the specified backup ID, or to delete the
backup information for the specified backup ID.
-l
Specify this option to display the following items acquired by the drmmediabackup command:
• ORIGINAL-ID
• HOSTNAME
• INSTANCE
-hostname host-name
Specify this option to display only information pertaining to a specific host. This option can be used
when, for example, backup information executed on multiple servers is imported to the server on
which you are executing the command.
-v
Specify this option to display information about the backup catalog.
The following information is displayed:
• VIRTUAL-SERVERNAME
If the DRM_HOSTNAME environment variable has not been set, a hyphen (-) appears.
• DB-PATH
Displays the path that is set in DRM_DB_PATH in the Application Agent configuration definition
file (init.conf).
If DRM_DB_PATH has not been set, the default storage directory for the dictionary map files, which
are created automatically during installation, is displayed.
