5. If the services listed below are not being used by another application, delete the services by
using the cluster management application:
• HBase 64 Storage Mgmt Common Service
• HBase 64 Storage Mgmt SSO Service
• HBase 64 Storage Mgmt Web Service
• HBase 64 Storage Mgmt Web SSO Service
• HCS Device Manager Web Service
• DeviceManagerServer
• HP StorageWorks XP Tiered Storage Manager
• HiRDB/ClusterService_HD1
6. Use the cluster management application to suppress failover of the resource group. Perform the
following tasks on the services listed in step 5 that you do not want to delete:
1. Right-click the resource name and select Properties.
2. On the Policies tab, select If resource fails, do not restart.
7. Run the following command to back up the database:
installation-folder-of-HP-XP7-Command-View-Advanced-Edition\Base64\bin\hcmds64backups
/dir
target-folder-for-storing-backup-files /auto
• dir
Using an absolute path, specify the local disk folder for the database backup files. Verify that
the dir folder is empty.
• auto
Automatically starts or stops HP XP7 Command View Advanced Edition services.
NOTE:
When you run the hcmds64backups command, a folder named database is created in
the target folder for storing backup files, and a database backup file is created with the
name backup.hdb.
8. Stop the HP XP7 Command View Advanced Edition product services.
For details about stopping the services, see the HP XP7 Command View Advanced Edition
Administrator Guide.
9. Remove HP XP7 Command View Advanced Edition from the active node.
10. On the active node, delete any files or folders that are no longer necessary, such as those created
during installation in the cluster environment.
11. Use the cluster management application to move the resource group, in which the HP XP7
Command View Advanced Edition product services are registered, to the standby node.
12. Remove HP XP7 Command View Advanced Edition from the standby node.
13. On the standby node, delete any files or folders that are no longer necessary, such as those
created during installation in the cluster environment.
