10. In the Services window, open the properties for the following services, and then change Startup
Type from Automatic to Manual:
• HBase 64 Storage Mgmt Common Service
• HBase 64 Storage Mgmt SSO Service
• HBase 64 Storage Mgmt Web Service
• HBase 64 Storage Mgmt Web SSO Service
• HCS Device Manager Web Service
• DeviceManagerServer
• HP StorageWorks XP Tiered Storage Manager
11. Use the cluster management application to select the resource group in which the HP XP7
Command View Advanced Edition product services are registered, and then from the right-click
menu, move the selected resource group to the standby node.

Upgrading or overwriting an installation of HP XP7 Command View Advanced
Edition on the standby node
This section describes installing HP XP7 Command View Advanced Edition by upgrading to a new
version or overwriting an existing version of HP XP7 Command View Advanced Edition on the standby
node.
Prerequisites
Suppress failover by using the cluster management application.
1. Stop the installed HP XP7 Command View Advanced Edition product services.
For details about stopping the services, see the manual that corresponds to the version of the HP
XP7 Command View Advanced Edition product that you are using.
2. Upgrade or overwrite the existing installation of HP XP7 Command View Advanced Edition.
3. Upgrading from v7.6.1 or earlier, move or copy the cluster configuration file (cluster.conf)
to the following folder:
installation-folder-of-HP-XP7-Command-View-Advanced-Edition\Base64\
conf
This is required if you installed a HP XP7 Command View Advanced Edition product for v7.6.1
or earlier to the default installation destination:
C:\ProgramFiles(x86)\CVXPAE
