5. Upgrading from v7.6.1 or earlier, move or copy the cluster configuration file (cluster.conf)
to a folder other than the installation folder.
This is required if you installed a HP XP7 Command View Advanced Edition product for v7.6.1
or earlier to the default installation destination:
C:\ProgramFiles(x86)\CVXPAE
The cluster configuration file is located in the following folder:
installation-folder-of-HP-XP7-Command-View-Advanced-Edition\Base64\
conf
6. On the standby node, perform the same procedures described in step 1 through step 5.
7. Upgrading an installation from v7.6.1 or earlier, use the cluster management application to
delete the following services:
• HBase Storage Mgmt Common Service
• HBase Storage Mgmt Web Service
• HCS Device Manager Web Service (if you are upgrading or overwriting an installation from
v7.0 or later)
• DeviceManagerServer
• HP StorageWorks XP Tiered Storage Manager
• HiRDB/ClusterService_HD0
8. Upgrading or overwriting an installation from v8.0.0 or later, use the cluster management
application to suppress failover of the resource group.
On the active or standby node, change the settings for the following resources by right-clicking
the resource name and selecting Properties. On the Policies tab, select If resource fails, do not
restart.
• HBase 64 Storage Mgmt Common Service
• HBase 64 Storage Mgmt Web Service
• HCS Device Manager Web Service
• DeviceManagerServer
• HP StorageWorks XP Tiered Storage Manager
• HiRDB/ClusterService_HD1
• Services that you took offline in step 2, and other than those listed here.
