Upgrading or overwriting an installation in a cluster
environment
This section describes the process of installing HP XP7 Command View Advanced Edition as an
upgrade or overwrite installation on the management servers in a cluster configuration.
Upgrading or overwriting an installation in a cluster environment includes the following process:
1. Suppress failover by using the cluster management application.
2. Upgrade or overwrite an installation of HP XP7 Command View Advanced Edition on the active
node.
3. Upgrade or overwrite an installation of HP XP7 Command View Advanced Edition on the standby
node.
NOTE:
During the setup of a cluster environment, HP XP7 Command View Advanced Edition services are
stopped. Consequently, do not access HP XP7 Command View Advanced Edition while setup is in
progress.
