7. Run the hcmds64srv /statusall command to verify that the HP XP7 Command View
Advanced Edition product services have stopped.
8. In the Services window, open the properties for the following services, and then change Startup
Type from Automatic to Manual:
• HBase 64 Storage Management Common Service
• HBase 64 Storage Mgmt SSO Service
• HBase 64 Storage Management Web Service
• HBase 64 Storage Mgmt Web SSO Service
• HCS Device Manager Web Service
• DeviceManagerServer
• HP StorageWorks XP Tiered Storage Manager

Registering HP XP7 Command View Advanced Edition services
Register HP XP7 Command View Advanced Edition services to a cluster management application
resource group.
Prerequisites
• Provide a cluster group (resource group), which is a group of services to be clustered (units of
service failover).
• Configure a resource group that includes the shared disks and cluster management IP addresses
and network names that can be inherited by the executing and standby nodes.
• Confirm that the cluster management application can successfully control resource allocation, re-
source removal, and operation monitoring.
• If there is a resource group in which another HP XP7 Command View Advanced Edition product
has been registered, use that resource group. Verify that the resource group consists of only those
resources that are related to HP XP7 Command View Advanced Edition products.
1. Right-click the name of the resource group and select Add Resource > Generic service. In the
Select Services window, select the following services:
• HiRDB/ClusterService_HD1
• HBase 64 Storage Mgmt Common Service
• HBase 64 Storage Mgmt SSO Service
• HBase 64 Storage Mgmt Web Service
• HBase 64 Storage Mgmt Web SSO Service
• HCS Device Manager Web Service
• DeviceManagerServer
• HP StorageWorks XP Tiered Storage Manager
The services listed are registered as resource properties in the cluster management application.
2. Click the resource name and select Properties. Specify the following settings for each resource.
