Upgrading to v8.0.0 or later, if HP XP7 Command View Advanced Edition v7.6.1 or earlier is installed
in one of the following folders, the installation destination is changed.

Upgrading to v8.0.0 or later, if the database files of the installed HP XP7 Command View Advanced
Edition products are stored in different locations, the database files for the products are stored together
in the following folder:
Device-Manager-database-file-storage-destination\x64
Installation destination for Common Component
The installation destination for Common Component is changed.
Upgrading from v7.6.1 and earlier:
In Windows:
installation-folder-for-HP-XP7-Command-View-Advanced-Edition\Base
In Linux:
installation-directory-for-HP-XP7-Command-View-Advanced-Edition/Base
Upgrading to v8.0.0 and later:

Port numbers and command names
The default values for port numbers used by Common Component are changed.
For details about port numbers used by HP XP7 Command View Advanced Edition products, see the
HP XP7 Command View Advanced Edition Administrator Guide.
Command names changed from hcmdsxxxx to hcmds64xxxx.
Server installation path name restrictions (new installations only)
You can change the default server installation location. If you change the location, ensure that the
path adheres to the restrictions in the following table.
