6 Removing XP7 Command View AE
This module describes how to remove XP7 Command View AE and its components.
Removing HP XP7 Command View Advanced Edition server
You can remove XP7 Command View AE when you no longer need to manage storage systems and
hosts.
Removing XP7 Command View AE deletes all properties files, database files, log files, and other files
as well. In addition, files and folders created within the XP7 Command View AE installation folder
are also deleted when XP7 Command View AE is removed.
NOTE:
• The Common Component files are deleted only if there are not any products that require Common
Component on the management servers.
• If a stand-alone installation of Host Data Collector has been performed previously, some folders
and files might remain even if XP7 Command View AE is removed. In this case, remove Host Data
Collector alone.
