AddHost
AddHost adds information about a host server to the Device Manager server.
NOTE:
To register a virtualization server by using Host Data Collector, use the AddVirtualizationServer
command. Additionally, use the AddVirtualizationServer command to manage the following
information:
• CommParameters
• Datastore
• VirtualDisk
• VM

Name of the new host
You can use a character string of 1-64 bytes for a name.
Spaces at the beginning or end of a name are not registered.
When used with the GUI, follow the GUI specification rules.

Value indicating the host type
If you register a mainframe host, specify 2.
For details about registering a mainframe host, see Appendix

If you register a normal host or virtualization server, omit this
parameter. Do not specify this parameter and the ostype
parameter at the same time.
