If you specify the -i (or --input) option to read requests to the Device Manager server from
the XML API request file, if the XML API contains <Get target="target-name">, the execution
results are not suppressed.

Executing the Device Manager CLI
You can use the Device Manager CLI to execute the commands that perform storage system operations
or storage resource management from the command line.
To execute the Device Manager CLI :
1. Open a command prompt, and then navigate to the Device Manager CLI installation directory
or folder.
2. Execute hdvmcli.bat or hdvmcli.sh.
NOTE:
If the User Account Control function is enabled in Windows, execute the CLI from a command prompt
that was launched with Administrator permissions. If you do not do this, log files and execution results
might not be output to the previously specified location.

Device Manager CLI return values
The Device Manager CLI returns an execution result value at the end of each process. The following
table lists and describes the CLI return values.
