Version 7.5.0-02 Description This package is the initial release of HP XP P9000 Tiered Storage Manager Software Edition 7.5.0-02. For details, see “Enhancements” (page 3). For previous behaviors resolved in this release, see “Fixes” (page 4). Update recommendation HP recommends updating to CVAE 7.5.0-02 Superseded version 7.4.

Important considerations Specifying is not or <> in filter conditions When is not or <> is specified in a filter condition for one of the following columns in a window that lists parity groups, volumes, or Data Placement Profiles, data that does not meet the filter conditions may be displayed.
Manage Data Placement Profiles (Logical Group View) dialog box In the performance chart of Manage Data Placement Profiles (Logical Group View) dialog box, the information on profile operation history may be displayed outside the performance chart. However, the proper information is displayed within performance chart. If this occurs, adjust datetime in From to accommodate the information on profile operation history in the performance chart.
Determine the name of the storage system corresponding to the storage domain using one of the following methods: • Using the GUI: In the subwindow, on the Detailed Information tab, refer to the first value of Domain Ctrl. In Domain Ctrl, the display format of the storage system is ::. • Using the CLI: Refer to the controllerName value in the output of the GetStorageDomains -d command. Mozilla 1.7.
When an unexpected error (KAIC16009-E) occurs in the Migrate Data dialog box If an unexpected error occurs, log in again. Do not perform any operations on the volumes in the list of volumes in the Select Volumes window. Use the list only to view the migration source volumes for data migration. Executing a migration task in Legacy mode or by the Tiered Storage Manger CLI When creating the migration task, do not specify a volume specified in another unfinished migration task for a source or target.
Note that if the Device Manager server uses the Windows operating system, this issue does not occur when the following conditions are met: • Windows firewall is enabled. • Firewall exception of htsmService.exe is enabled. Executing data migration In the display window, check the task status and do the following: • If the executed migration task is not displayed in the task list, execute the operation again.
