If the name of a snapshot group contains a character that is not specified in the list above, neither the
pair modify operation nor the pair delete operation can be performed for that Snapshot Group. Also,
the name of that snapshot group cannot be displayed.
The options for the copy pair operation
For a copy group that does not support quick mode (the Quick Split, Quick Resync, and Quick
Restore options for the copy pair operation), if you execute a task for the copy pair operation when
quick mode is not specified in Replication Manager, the executed task might not complete, and the
KAVN00455-E message or the KAVN00456-E message might be output.
Conditions for occurrence
This issue occurs when either of the following conditions is met:
When the RAID Manager environment variable

is set to QUICK:
For a copy group that does not support quick mode, a copy pair operation is performed when
quick mode is not specified in Replication Manager.
When the RAID Manager environment variable is not set, and quick mode is specified in the
Replication Manager settings

Of the following temporary solutions, perform the one that matches your specific conditions
When the RAID Manager environment variable is set to QUICK:
Change the RAID Manager environment variable to NORMAL.
When the RAID Manager environment variable is not set and quick mode is specified in the
Replication Manager settings:
Disable quick mode in the Replication Manager settings.
