When you use a self-signed certificate for testing encrypted communication or any temporary
use, you first need to export the server certificate from the truststore file (DeviceManager-
Certs).
To import a server certificate into Internet Explorer:
1. Start Internet Explorer, and then select Tools and Internet Options.
If you are using Internet Explorer 8 or a later version, the Tools menu might not appear. In this
case, press the Alt key to display the menu bar, and then perform the above operation.
2. Click the Certificates button in the Content tab, and then import the server certificate into the
browser.
To import a server certificate into Firefox:
1. Start Firefox, and then select the following menu options:.
In Windows:
Select Tools and Options.
In Linux:
Select Edit and Preferences.
2. Select Advanced.
3. Click the View Certificates button in the Encryption tab, and then import the server certificate into
the browser.
Changing pop-up blocker settings
If you change the P9000 Command View AE Suite product URL to the SSL version of the URL, in
Internet Explorer, you must register the SSL version of the URL in the pop-up blocker settings.
Operations to complete in advance
Change the P9000 Command View AE Suite product URL (see Changing the URL for accessing
P9000 Command View AE Suite products (hcmdschgurl command) on page 107).
Information to collect in advance
IP address or host name of the management server
SSL communication port number for HBase Storage Mgmt Web Service (in Internet Explorer 6)
You can use the httpsd.conf file to check the port number (default: 23016).

SSL communication port number of the Device Manager server (in Internet Explorer 6)
You can use the server.https.port property in the server.properties file on the Device
Manager server to check the SSL communication port number (default: 2443) of the server.

To change pop-up blocker settings:
1. Start Internet Explorer, select Tools, Pop-up Blocker, and then Internet Options.
If you are using Internet Explorer 8 or a later version, the Tools menu might not appear. In this
