Option information of the external volume
For P9500, XP24000/XP20000 or XP12000/XP10000/SVS200, a 4-bit value
is converted to decimal and is output.
• Bit 0 (0x01): Whether or not the cache mode is enabled
• Bit 1 (0x02): Whether or not the I/O suppression mode is enabled
• Bit 2 (0x04): Whether or not the cache inflow control mode is enabled
• Bit 3 (0x08): Whether or not data migration using virtual IDs is in progress
(enabled)
For each of these bits, 1 means enabled and 0 means disabled. For example,
when the cache mode and the cache inflow control mode are enabled, 5 is output
as the value of the volumeType attribute.
-1 is output for other storage systems.

Number of the parity group containing the LDEV

Indicates whether a path is assigned to the LDEV:
• true: A path is assigned.
• false: No path is assigned.
path
Indicates whether the LDEV is used as a device that is expanded on demand:
• true: The LDEV is expanded on demand.
• false: The LDEV is not expanded on demand.
onDemandDevice
Indicates the purpose of the LDEV:
• AutoLunReserved: The LDEV is reserved for Auto LUN Software.
• OnDemandDevice: The LDEV is expanded on demand.
devType
Indicates whether the size of the LDEV is the standard size or a custom size:
• true: Standard size
• false: Custom size (CVS)
isStandardLDEV
Guard mode
A space is output when the guard mode is invalid. When multiple modes are set,
the modes are separated by semicolons (;) when they are output (example:
Protect).
guardMode
Type of the drive
• -1: Unknown
• 0: FC
• 1: SATA
• 4: SAS
• 5: SSD
If a storage system is connected externally and an external volume is mapped to
the internal volume, a value different from the actual drive type might be output.
