• A configuration definition file in which a virtual command device is specified for the HORCM_CMD
parameter can now be used.
• Partitioned storage resources managed by Device Manager can now be managed based on user
permissions.
• In addition to the JRE bundled with the Device Manager agent, a user-installed Oracle Sun JDK
(version 6) or Oracle Sun JRE (version 6) can now be used.
• The basis on which the Windows Firewall exception settings required on the Device Manager
agent are specified has been changed from program to port.
• The Device Manager agent no longer provides support for the following OSs:
• Red Hat Enterprise Linux AS 3
• Red Hat Enterprise Linux ES 3
• Host Data Collector can now be used in the following OSs:
• Red Hat Enterprise Linux
• SUSE Linux Enterprise Server
