5. Execute the following command on the host to obtain the maintenance information:
In Windows:
TLC.bat [/dir output-destination-of-maintenance-information] [/o]

In UNIX:
TLC.sh [-dir output-destination-of-maintenance-information] [-o]

Specify an output destination for the maintenance information. If you omit this option, a dir-
ectory named tlcResult is created in the current directory.

Specify this option to forcibly overwrite the directory if the directory specified for the dir
option already exists.

Specify this option to view the command format.
Hosts managed by the Device Manager agent
To collect error information for a host where the Device Manager agent is installed, execute the TIC
command. For details about the TIC command, see TIC command syntax on page 236.
Obtaining the Java VM thread dump
If any of the following problems occurs, obtain a Java VM thread dump to locate the cause of the
problem:
The Device Manager logon window is not displayed when you start the GUI.
The Device Manager main window is not displayed after logging on to Device Manager.
If you are using Oracle Sun JDK, switch it to the JDK bundled with P9000 Command View AE Suite,
and then obtain a Java VM thread dump.
Obtaining a Java VM thread dump in a Windows environment
This section describes how to obtain thread dumps of the HBase Storage Mgmt Common Service and
the HCS Device Manager Web Service in a Windows environment.
Obtaining a thread dump of the HBase Storage Mgmt Common Service
To obtain a Java VM thread dump:
1. In installation-folder-for-Common-Component\CC\web\containers\HiCommand,
create a file called dump.
2. Access the Windows Services window.
3. Stop the HBase Storage Mgmt Common Service.
The javacorexxx.xxxx.txt file is output to
installation-folder-for-Common-Component\CC\web\containers\HiCommand.
4. From the Services window, start the HBase Storage Mgmt Common Service.
