Application User Management and HP StorageWorks P9000 Command -
View Advanced Edition Suite software names are displayed.
User Management indicates the Admin permission that permits
management of the users of all HP StorageWorks P9000
Command View Advanced Edition Suite software.
When you choose one of the displayed items, the application-
name subwindow opens.
Host Name/IP Address
The host name or IP address of the server on which the HP
StorageWorks P9000 Command View Advanced Edition Suite
software is installed is displayed.
Total number of
Authorized User
The number of users who have permissions for the product is
displayed. This item is displayed if linkage with an external
authorization server is disabled.
Total number of
Authorized User and
Group
The total number of users and authorization groups that have
permissions for the product is displayed. This item is displayed if
linkage with an external authorization server is enabled.
7-1-13 Displaying the user permissions list
You can display a list of users who have the User Management Admin permission and the users of
each HP StorageWorks P9000 Command View Advanced Edition Suite software product that has
been installed. The permissions of these users are displayed in this list.
To display the user permissions list:
1. On the Explorer menu, choose Administration, and then Users and Permissions.
The Users and Permissions subwindow opens.
2. In the object tree, choose User Management or a product name under Permissions.
The Users and Permissions subwindow or the application-name subwindow opens. The users
and their permissions are displayed in these subwindows.

If linkage with an external authorization server is enabled, users and authorization groups that have
the permissions for the selected product are listed in the application-name subwindow. If linkage
with an external authorization server is disabled, only the users that have the permissions for the
selected product are listed. The items displayed in the dialog box differ according to the product
selected.
Authorised user and group list
User ID
User IDs are displayed. This item is displayed if linkage with an
external authorization server is disabled.
User ID and Group Name
User IDs and authorization group names are displayed. This item
is displayed if linkage with an external authorization server is
enabled.
Admin
A check mark is displayed for this item if the user or authorization
group has Admin permission for the product. Users that have
Admin permission can manage resources and configure the
product. If the displayed application-name subwindow is the
Users and Permissions subwindow, users that have Admin
permission can also add users and change user information.
Modify
A check mark is displayed for this item if the user or authorization
group has Modify permission for the product. Users that have
Modify permission can specify or update the settings for the
allocated resources.
Execute
A check mark is displayed for this item if the user or authorization
group has Execute permission for the product. Users that have
Execute permission can execute batch processing and other
