Adding a user
Add the authentication information for the added user.
For the procedure for adding a user, see subsection 4-6-1 .
Setting up user permissions
Set up the permission information assigned to a user.
For the procedure for setting up the user permission information, see subsection 4-6-2 .
The values that must be set are as follows:
• When the user being added is an account administrator, specify User Management.
• When the user being added is a storage administrator, specify the permission determined as
described in (1) Storage administrator information in section 5-2 .
Changing a user password
Change the password that is contained in the authentication information for the user.
For the procedure for changing the password, see the applicable reference in the following table.

6-3-4 Changing the status of the authentication information
for users
If the authentication information for a user is locked by a Common Component security function, the
account administrator can unlock the information according to the policies described in section 1-3 .
The account administrator can also lock authentication information.
