3-6-1 Starting the Device Manager Server
IMPORTANT: Do not use the Windows
®
Services panel to start and stop Device Manager services.
Start the Device Manager server by one of the following methods:
• Select Start, Programs, HP Command View XP AE, Device Manager, and then Start Server (see
Figure 3-25), or
• Enter the following command: C:\Program Files\CVXPAE\DeviceManager\
hdvm.bat start
