• Register the database to the recreated database system: <common component
installation folder>\bin\hcmdsdbmove /import /datapath <data
input/output target folder>
CAUTION: When this command is executed, the port designated for HiRDB returns to the default (23032). If
you use another port for HiRDB, you must reset the port after this operation.
IMPORTANT: You must specify an absolute path to the target directory. Do not use a path delimiter (\) at the
end of the target directory name, or you will get a command error. If this occurs, remove the path delimiter
and re-execute the command.
8. In the Cluster Administrator, switch each group in which the Command View XP AE Suite
product service has been registered into the executing system.
9. On the executing node, do the following:
• Start HiRDB: <common component installation folder>\bin\hcmdsdbsrv
/start
• Delete or empty the data input/output target directory.
• Back up the database contents: <common component installation folder>
\bin\hcmdsdbmove /export /datapath <data input/output target folder>
IMPORTANT: You must specify an absolute path to the target directory.
• Re-create the database system in the local disk: <common component installation
folder>\bin\hcmdsdbremake /cluster /databasepath <data input/output
target folder>
CAUTION: <data input/output target folder> must be no more than 63 bytes, and must be on
the local disk.

• Back up the database (see section 3-7-1 if you need instructions).
• Register the database to the recreated database system: <common component
installation folder>\bin\hcmdsdbmove /import /datapath <data

10. Set up a cluster environment for each of the other installed Command View XP AE Suite
products. For instructions, see the corresponding manual for that product.
11. Follow the instructions in the following section to continue with Device Manager installation.
3-3-3 Performing a New Installation
CAUTION: While performing cluster configuration, do not access Command View XP AE Device Manager.
CAUTION: Before installing Device Manager, make sure that the cluster management IP address and
shared disk are enabled on the executing node.
3-3-3-1 Installing on the Executing Node
1. If the service of another Command View XP AE Suite product or cluster group exists, exclude
them from cluster management.
2. On the executing node, perform a new installation of the Device Manager server (see
section 3-2-1 ). The following are the requirements for the installation:
