XP1024 and XP128 only:
• SVP microcode: Minimum = 21-13-02, Recommended = 21-14-02 or later.
• Remote Web Console must be installed so that it is accessible from Device Manager.
• The following program products must be installed and running on each disk array:
• HP SNMP Agent.
• Volume Management.
• Java™ API.
• The following optional program products must be installed and running on each disk array if you
want to use them with Device Manager:
• Volume Management.
• LUN Security XP Expansion.
• Business Copy XP.
• Continuous Access XP.

XP512 and XP48 only:

want to use them with Device Manager:
• Volume Management.
• Secure Manager XP.
• Business Copy XP.
• Continuous Access XP.
• If you are setting up an alias for HPAV, the LDEV number assigned for both the base volume
and the alias volume must be in the same 32-LDEV boundary (e.g., 0 to 31, 32 to 63). If they are
not the same, you may get the following error message when you try to create an LDEV:
• The volume to be created by the CVS operation is being used as the
MAV function.
