To uninstall the Device Manager agent in Windows
®
:
1. Select Start, Settings, Control Panel, and Add/Remove Programs.
2. Click the Change/Remove button for the Device Manager agent.
3. In the displayed the Device Manager agent maintenance menu, choose Remove.
NOTE: In the maintenance menu, although Repair and Remove are selectable, do not select Repair.
When performing re-installation (installation for restoration) of the Device Manager agent, follow the
procedures described in the “Re-installation in Windows
®
” part of section 2-5-1 .

hdvmagt stops when you uninstall the Device Manager agent. The execution cycle schedule, and all
the directories and files registered during installation are deleted, and the system is returned to its pre-
installation state.
NOTE: This operation does not uninstall JRE1.4.2 because it was installed separately.
To uninstall the Device Manager agent on a Solaris™ system:
1. Execute the following command from the command line:
# /opt/HDVM/bin/.uninstall.sh
The following message displays asking whether to uninstall:
Are you sure to UNINSTALL Device Manager-Agent? (Y/N)
2. Type Y.
The following message displays confirming a successful uninstall:
Uninstallation of Device Manager - Agent was successful

hdvmagt stops when you uninstall the Device Manager agent. The execution cycle schedule, and all
