HP P9000 Replication Manager Software 7.2 Configuration Guide
NOTE:
The following restrictions apply:
• SQL Server cluster configurations are not supported on guest operating systems, except for a
limited subset of configurations
between
guest operating systems, which are supported only in
Replication Manager version 7.1 and later. However, note that in these configurations, you must
use disks that are directly connected to iSCSI, and the SQL version must be one of the following:
SQL Server 2005, SQL Server 2008, and SQL Server 2008 R2.
• The backup server cannot support a Windows Server 2008 Hyper-V environment if a pass-through
connection is used and the secondary volume is recognized dynamically (hidden). Backup using
VSS is not supported if a pass-through connection is used.
