HP P9000 Replication Manager Software 7.2 Configuration Guide
4. Move the database to the shared disk.
NOTE:
This step is unnecessary if other P9000 Command View AE suite products have been set
up in a cluster configuration.
If there are not any P9000 Command View AE suite products in a cluster configuration on the
same host, execute the command shown below. This command changes the port number of the
port used by HiRDB to the default port number (23032). If you changed the port number to a
number other than the default, note the port number being used so that you can specify it later.
installation-folder-for-P9000-Command-View-AE-Common-Component\bin\hcmdsdbclustersetup
/createcluster /databasepath database-re-creation-folder /exportpath
data-destination-folder /auto
For database-re-creation-folder, specify a folder on the shared disk. For data-destination-folder,
specify a folder on the local disk. (Before executing the command, be sure to delete or empty
these folders of any existing files.)
The folder specified for
installation-folder-for-P9000-Command-View-AE-Common-Component in the
above command must be the same folder as that specified in the migration of the active node's
database onto the shared disk.
NOTE:
For database-re-creation-folder on the shared disk, the required space is the sum of the
following:
• Database capacity of P9000 Command View AE Common Component
• Database capacity of all P9000 Command View AE suite products (including Replication
Manager) that are installed on the host where Replication Manager is installed
If the hcmdsdbclustersetup command fails because there is not enough space, increase
the space for that folder and re-execute the command.
Do not disconnect the shared disk from the executing node until the command terminates
normally. If the command terminates abnormally and you then restart the host, the connection
target of the shared disk might be changed to the standby node.
Don't separate the shared disk from the active node until the hcmdsdbclustersetup command
is complete. If you relaunch the host after the hcmdsdbclustersetup command has aborted,
the shared disk might be connected to the standby node instead of the active node.
When the auto option is specified, the P9000 Command View AE Common Component and
HiRDB will be in the stopped state after the command is executed.
Also ensure that you specify the path of data-destination folder on the local disk.
For these folders, specify absolute paths using no more than 63 bytes.
You can use the following characters to specify these folders:
A to Z, a to z, 0 to 9, ., _
You can also specify backslashes (\), colons (:), and forward slashes (/) as path delimiters. If
the auto option is specified, the command automatically stops P9000 Command View AE
