HP P9000 Replication Manager Software 7.2 Configuration Guide
6. Move the database onto the shared disk.
NOTE:
This step is unnecessary if other P9000 Command View AE suite products have been set
up in a cluster configuration.
If there are no P9000 Command View AE suite products in a cluster configuration on the same
host, execute the command shown below. This command changes the port number of the port
used by HiRDB to the default port number (23032). If you changed the port number to a number
other than the default, note the port number being used so that you can specify it later.
installation-folder-for-P9000-Command-View-AE-Common-Component\bin\hcmdsdbclustersetup
/createcluster /databasepath database-re-creation-folder /exportpath
data-destination-folder /auto
For database-re-creation-folder, specify a folder on the shared disk. For
data-destination-folder, specify a folder on the local disk. (Before executing the command,
be sure to delete or empty these folders of any existing files. After executing
hcmdsdbclustersetup, the port number of the port used by HiRDB will be changed to the
default (23032)). The storage folder on the shared disk must have free space greater than the
total volume of the databases.
NOTE:
For database-re-creation-folder on the shared disk, the required space is the sum of the
following:
• Database capacity of P9000 Command View AE Common Component
• Database capacity of all P9000 Command View AE suite products (including Replication
Manager) that are installed on the host where Replication Manager is installed
If the hcmdsdbclustersetup command fails because there is not enough space, increase
the space for that folder and re-execute the command.
Do not disconnect the shared disk from the executing node until the
hcmdsdbclustersetup command terminates normally. If the command terminates
abnormally and you then restart the host, the connection target of the shared disk might be
changed to the standby node.
When the auto option is specified, the P9000 Command View AE Common Component
and HiRDB will be in the stopped state after the command is executed.
For these folders, specify absolute paths using no more than 63 bytes.
You can use the following characters to specify these folders:
A to Z, a to z, 0 to 9, ., _
You can also specify backslashes (\), colons (:), and forward slashes (/) as path delimiters. If
the auto option is specified, the command automatically stops P9000 Command View AE
Common Component and starts HiRDB. After command execution, both P9000 Command View
AE Common Component and HiRDB will not be running.
