HP P9000 Command View Advanced Edition Software Update 7.1.0-02 Release Notes (TB581-96077, August 2011)

The installation/uninstallation of Host Data Collector on a non-system drive creates a temp folder
on that drive. You can delete the folder.
If the environment variable tmp in Windows includes characters other than the following,
installation fails:
A-Z a-z 0-9 space ._() ~@#$^&()_+{}`-=[]',ó
Change the tmp path to use the above characters.
When Host Data Collector is installed on a SUSE Linux server, Host Data Collector does not start
automatically after the operating system is rebooted. Execute the following command after the
post-installation reboot:
#chkconfig -s S99AP on
Installing Host Data Collector from a remote server might fail.
In this case, remove Host Data Collector and store the target installation image on the server.
Then install Host Data Collector again by using the installation image.
Removing Host Data Collector
After removing Host Data Collector from a Solaris or Linux host, the following files or directories might
remain.
<installation-directory>/Winexe
<installation-directory>/HostDataCollector/conf/HDCPid.dat
Delete them manually after the removal.
Host Data Collector can be reinstalled if these files or directories remain.
Using Host Data Collector to register Unix hosts
If a user who is using a login shell other than the default shell registers or refreshes hosts, the operation
might fail with the error ERR_1310. The user must use the default login shell.

displayed incorrectly.
If this happens, and then the Search button is clicked, the displayed search results might differ from
