Using the CLI to create copy pairs
If the replicationfunction parameter is omitted in either of the following commands, the KAIC90083-E
error occurs.
• Creating a copy pair with the AddReplication command
• Creating a configuration file using with the AddConfigFileForReplication command
To perform these operations, you must specify the replicationfunction parameter.
Changing a storage system configuration
When a configuration is changed while refreshing information about a P9000 or XP storage system,
the configuration changes might fail with the KAIC05000-E error. If this occurs, retry the configuration
changes.
Create Volume dialog box
The following message appears if the Create Volume dialog box is opened when all of the parity
groups are reserved:
No parity groups for create volumes. Create a parity group. (KIAC16109-E)
If this occurs, wait until the task using the parity groups ends.
Virtual Parity Group information
Virtual Parity Group information is not displayed in the volume list. Check the Virtual Parity Group
information from the Detailed Information dialog box for each volume.
Drive type for external volumes
External volume drive types are not displayed in the volume list. Check the drive type from the Detailed
Information dialog box for each volume.
Sorting columns
When sorting the following columns, the order might not be correct:
• Volume list: Volume Attribute
• Volume list: RAID Level
• Volume list: Drive RPM
• Volume list: Copy Information(P-VOL)
• Volume list: Copy Information(S-VOL)
• Parity Group list: Cache Mode
• Parity Group list: Drive RPM
Attach Resource Group
The following invalid message appears when the All Resource permission for the user logging in ended
during a modify operation:
