Installation instructions
• Due to the security-checking policy enhancements in the mainframe agent 6.0.0, the RACF
profile must now be set up before running mainframe agent. For information on how to perform
this setup, refer to the HP P9000 Command View Advanced Edition Suite software Mainframe
Agent Installation and Configuration Guide.
• From this version, it is necessary to set permissions for the “STARTED” class of the job that
starts the mainframe agent IBM Security Server (RACF). For information on setting permissions,
see chapter 3.2 in the HP P9000 Command View Advanced Edition Suite software Mainframe
Agent Installation and Configuration Guide.
• When installing the mainframe agent, set APF-authorization for the load module library (by
default, MFAGENT.V0710.LINKLIB (load library)).
• To use the YKALCSVC command, add the load library (the default data set name is
MFAGENT.V0710.LINKLIB) to the YKALCSVC cataloged procedure as STEPLIB dd name.
