Virtual memory space requirements
The following shows the memory needed to execute mainframe agent:
• For a user region of less than 16 MB: 2,048 KB
• For an extended user region of 16 MB or more:
○ When linking with Device Manager
3,072 KB + D KB + (64 * number-of-specified-DEVN-parameters) / 1,024 KB
○ When linking with Replication Manager
6,000 KB + A KB
+ (512 * number-of-specified-OREFIX-parameters) / 1,024 KB
+ (64 * number-of-specified-DEVN-parameters) / 1,024 KB
Where A is the larger value of (1.5*D) and (3*P).
Where D is the largest number of devices specified for the DEVN initialization parameters.
Where P is the largest number of copy pairs in a copy group used by mainframe agent.
○ When linking with Device Manager and Replication Manager at the same time.
Allocate memory as estimated for linking with Replication Manager.
