A Remote Scan cannot be performed in the following cases:
• The specified device address domain ID is equivalent to the local
device address domain ID or a Non Gen'ed device address do-
main ID.
• When the HDA file is not a file used for a Remote Scan
• When the Preset RouteListID set in the Set Defaults panel is not
valid.
You cannot perform a remote scan
if the specified DADID matches a
local or Non Gen'ed DADID or if the
loaded HDA file is not for remote
scan or if the Preset RouteListID,
which is in the Set Defaults panel, is
not enabled.
YKM500E ISPF
The device number cannot be edited because the volume was not found
by a Remote Scan or an NG Scan. For details about the NG Scan,
