NOTE: After new installation, the bundled JDK in the product will be set to use. Exchange the JDK
for HP XP7 Command View Advanced Edition products to use Oracle JDK after the installation.
NOTE: If the OS of the management server is Windows, the file system of the management server
must be NTFS in order to use Oracle JDK. Use Oracle JDK for 32 bit because HP XP7 Command
View Advanced Edition products are 32 bit applications.
1-2-3 Other Prerequisite software
The following software is required for the management server:
• For Windows
○ Microsoft Windows Installer 3.1
This installer is necessary for performing installation. When a Device Manager
server is installed, it is installed automatically.
• For Linux
○ gzip
This software is required for decompressing the installer.
