Notes about upgrading installations from version 7.6.1 or earlier
When upgrading an installation from v7.6.1 or earlier to v8.0.0 or later:
• Upgrade all HP XP7 Command View Advanced Edition products to v8.0.0 or later.
In an environment where v7.6.1 or earlier HP XP7 Command View Advanced Edition products
are used with v8.0.0 or later HP XP7 Command View Advanced Edition products, you might not
be able to register user accounts and HP XP7 Command View Advanced Edition products might
not operate correctly.
• When upgrading an installation from v6.0 or earlier to v8.0.0 or later, upgrade to version 6.x
or 7.x, and then upgrade to v8.0.0 or later.
NOTE:
When upgrading to v8.0.0 or later, the installation destination, port numbers, and command names
are changed. You need to reset the port numbers and the security communication settings.
