Maximum number of resources that can be managed
There are upper limits to the number of resources that can be managed by Device Manager, Tiered
Storage Manager, and Replication Manager.
HP recommends that you operate each product within these limits.

The maximum number of management resources when using the CIM/WBEM function is shown
below. If the number of storage system resources managed by Device Manager exceeds the
maximum, change the server.cim.support property to false (default: true).

for LUNs in storage systems managed by Device Manager, Tiered Storage Manager, or

Changing the memory heap size
You can change the memory heap size on the Device Manager server by editing a file. In Windows,
edit the Server.ini file. In Linux, edit the hdvm.sh file.
