Fixes
The following issues have been resolved:
When you use the following formula to create the THP volume, and the result is greater than
800000,
1
or perform any operations such as data migration, the operation might not complete
due to insufficent memory.
(The-number-of-THP-volumes-to-create) *
(The-number-of-parity-groups-in-the-storage-system-to-create-the-THP-volumes)
2
1
The number varies depending on the environment of the Device Manager server machine.
2
To confirm the number of parity groups, use the following procedure:
1. Execute the CLI GetStorageArray subtarget=ArrayGroup command for the storage
system that creates the THP volumes.
2. In the result of the command described in step 1, {N} in "List of {N} ArrayGroup
elements:" in the StorageArray instance is the number of parity groups required in the
formula above.
After the OS on a virtualization server in Device Manager was upgraded, an attempt to add,
refresh, or edit a target host might not refresh the information on the virtualization server.
3
This
was the normal operation, but one of the following incorrect messages was generated:
KAIC07122-E
The host name "{0}" is already used by an existing host.
KAIC07667-E
Addition of a host failed because the data acquired from Host Data
Collector is invalid.
Revise the conditions and settings for target hosts:
host name or IP address = <virtualization server IP address>
Host Data Collector information: host name or IP address = <Host Data Collector IP address>
RMI registry port number = <Host Data Collector RMI registry port number>
RMI server port number = <Host Data Collector RMI server port number>
class loader port number = <Host Data Collector class loader port number>
