-- : You cannot specify this memory heap size.
#
If you manage both open volumes and mainframe volumes, calculate the number of copy
pairs by using the following formula:
number-of-open-system-copy-pairs x 6 + number-of-mainframe-system-
copy-pairs
To set the memory heap size:
1. Stop the P9000 Command View AE Suite product services.
2. Check the current setting for the memory heap size.
In Windows:
installation-folder-for-Common-Component\bin\hcmdschgheap /print
In Linux:
installation-directory-for-Common-Component/bin/hcmdschgheap -print
3. Change the memory heap size.
In Windows:
installation-folder-for-Common-Component\bin\hcmdschgheap /set
[Small|Medium|Large]
In Linux:
installation-directory-for-Common-Component/bin/hcmdschgheap -set
[Small|Medium|Large]
4. Start the P9000 Command View AE Suite product services.
CAUTION:
If you already specified the memory heap size by using the hcmdsweb or hcmdsweb2 command,
you cannot reduce that value. To reduce the value, you have to remove P9000 Command View AE
Suite, re-install it, and then change the heap size.
