Execute the hbsa_util command to delete the files and
registry entries of the Device Manager agent.
To execute the hbsa_util command:
1. Log on to Windows as a user with Administrator per-
missions.
2. Execute the hbsa_util command.
For details on the command, see hbsa_util com-
mand on page 256.
In a Windows environment, two
copies of HBase Agent are displayed
in the Programs and Features window
of the computer on which the Device
Manager agent or Hitachi Dynamic
Link Manager is installed.

Another program linked with Device Manager might be
frequently accessing the Device Manager agent that is
running. If JavaVM ends abnormally, edit the following file:
installation-folder-for-Device-Manager-agent\
agent\bin\Server.cmd
Use a text editor to open the Server.cmd file, and then
add -Djava.compiler=NONE to the Java startup options.
The following shows an example of editing the Server.cmd
file:
..java -Dalet.msglang -Djava.compiler=NONE

JavaVM ends abnormally in the fol-
lowing environments: Windows
Server 2003 R2 (x64), Windows
Server 2008 (x64 and IPF), Windows
