Note:
This operation requires Administrator or superuser privileges. If the OS is Windows Server 2008,
Windows Server 2008 R2 or Windows Server 2012, the command must be executed from a
command prompt started as an Administrator.
HiScan command
The HiScan command is used to send host information to the Device Manager server. The HiScan
command is stored in the following locations:
In Windows:
installation-folder-for-Device-Manager-agent\bin\HiScan.bat
In Solaris, Linux, or HP-UX:
/opt/HDVM/HBaseAgent/bin/HiScan
In AIX:
/usr/HDVM/HBaseAgent/bin/HiScan

Synopsis
This command allows you to send host information such as the host name, HBA WWN,
file system, mount point, and information on the LU connected to the host to the Device
Manager server.
This operation requires Administrator or superuser privileges. If the OS is Windows
Server 2008, Windows Server 2008 R2 or Windows Server 2012, the command must
be executed from a command prompt started as an Administrator.
