4-2-2 Preparations before deleting an information source
Before deleting an information source from the system, you must use Common Component hcmdsbackups
command to back up the database. For details about backing up a database, see section
3-8 .
4-2-3 Procedure for deleting an information source
4-2-3-1 Deleting a Device Manager server
To delete a Device Manager server that is used as an information source:
1. In Explorer, select Settings and then Information Source.
An object tree from which you can select an information source appears in the navigation area, and an
information source list appears in the application area.
2. Select Device Manager from the object tree or from the list.
A list of registered Device Manager servers appears in the application area.
3. Select the check box to the left of the name of the Device Manager server that you want to delete.
The Remove HDvMs button is enabled.
4. Click the Remove HDvMs button.
A dialog box asks you to confirm that the Device Manager server is to be deleted.
