3-8-2-7 Notes
When using the hcmdsbackups command to back up the database all databases of Command View XP AE
Suite products are backed up. However, when using the hcmdsdb command and specifying
ReplicationMonitor in the type option to restore the database, only the XP Replication Monitor database is
restored. The databases of other Command View XP AE Suite products containing Common Component are not
restored. Therefore, inconsistency between the Common Component database and the XP Replication Monitor
database can occur and XP Replication Monitor software may not operate correctly.
Therefore, if you specify ReplicationMonitor in the type option and restore the database, use the Refresh
Configuration button in the Configuration Setting window to collect the latest configuration before you resume
using XP Replication Monitor software. For details about the Refresh Configuration button, see section 3-7 .
If restoration is performed with ALL specified, the databases of all Command View XP AE Suite products are
restored to the time of the last backup. Therefore, information about Command View XP AE Suite products that
are installed or configured after the last backup is deleted. If you change the Command View XP AE Suite
product configuration on the same management server, always obtain a backup.
