4. Enter the name (nickname) and IP address of the Business Continuity Manager.
5. To change the default value displayed for the port number, enter the desired value for the port number.
6. To suppress collection of configuration information from the Business Continuity Manager, clear the Acquire
the pair configuration managed by the BC Manager during the registration checkbox.
NOTE: You can collect all configuration information together if you register multiple information sources
with the Acquire the pair configuration managed by the BC Manager during the registration check box
cleared. For details about how to collect configuration information from multiple information sources at
once, see section
3-7
7. Click the OK button.
A dialog box requests confirmation of the information specified for adding the Business Continuity Manager
appears.
8. Select the check box to confirm the specified information, and click the Confirm button.
A dialog box shows the progress of adding the Business Continuity Manager. Once the processing is
complete, a dialog box indicates that the Business Continuity Manager has been added.
NOTE: If the Acquire the pair configuration managed by the BC Manager during the registration check
box is selected, configuration information is collected from the Business Continuity Manager.
9. Click the Close button.
The dialog box indicating completion closes.
To change the information for a registered information source.
1. From the Explorer menu, select Settings and then Information Source.
An object tree from which you can select an information source appears in the navigation area, and an
information source list appears in the application area.
2. Select Business Continuity Manager from the object tree or from the list.
A list of registered Business Continuity Managers appears in the application area.
3. Click the icon to the left of the name of the Business Continuity Manager whose information you want to
change.
A dialog box for changing the information registered to the Business Continuity Manager appears.
4. Enter the new information in this dialog box.
The remainder of this procedure is the same as for registering an information source, except that you cannot
specify whether to collect configuration information from the Business Continuity Manager.
