• If the management server OS is Red Hat Enterprise Linux AS/ES 4 Update 4, you no longer
have to install compat-libstdc++-33-3.2.3-47.3 separately, because it comes with the
OS.

• z/OS 1.11 can now be used in XP mainframe agent.
• Windows Active Directory can now be used as an external authorization server for managing
user accounts.
• The format of the perf_cmddev.properties file has been changed.
• You can now obtain log files for specific XP Command View AE Suite products only.
• You can now obtain specific types of log files only.
• You can now check information about volumes allocated to a virtual machine by using Device
Manager.
• If you use XP Tiered Storage Manager to perform a migration to a THP volume or a THP pool,
you can now perform discard zero data to release unused space in the target THP volume after
the migration.
• The default value for the server.http.entity.maxLength property of the
server.properties file has been changed.
• Web client can now be used in Firefox 3.5.
