This section describes the management server requirements.
1-3-1 Computer requirements
The Device Manager server and XP Provisioning Manager server can be used in the following OS
environments:
• Windows
• Linux
The following sections describe the computer requirements for each OS. For details about the
installation, see the HP StorageWorks XP Command View Advanced Edition software installation
guide for Device Manager, Provisioning Manager and Tiered Storage Manager.
