HP StorageWorks P9000 Replication Manager Software 7.1 Configuration Guide (TB584-96022, May 2011)
• If there are multiple certificate files, specify an alias that has not been used in jssecacerts to
import the certificate file.
• Follow these restrictions for truststores, the truststore file name, and the password for the hcmds-
keytool or keytool utility:
• Do not use the following symbols in the file name:
: , ; * ? " < > |
• Specify the file name as a character string of no more than 255 bytes.
• Do not include double quotation marks (") in a unique name in the truststore or in the password.
Use the hcmdskeytool utility to import the certificate into jssecacerts:
hcmdskeytool -import -alias unique-name-in-the-truststore -file
certificate-file -keystore truststore-file-name -storepass
truststore-access-password
For -alias unique-name-in-the-truststore, specify a name that identifies the certificate
in the truststore.
For -file certificate-file, specify the certificate file.
For -keystore truststore-file-name, specify jssecacerts.
For -storepass truststore-access-password, specify the password for accessing
jssecacerts.
To confirm the contents of jssecacerts, use the command described in “Checking the
truststores” on page 87.
NOTE:
For the modified truststore to take effect, you must first stop and start the services of the P9000
Command View AE suite products and HP StorageWorks P9000 Command View AE Common
Component. See “Starting and stopping Replication Manager” on page 69 for more information.
