• Roles for Device Manager must be set to resource groups.

Users with Tiered Storage Manager permissions:

• When users also have Device Manager permissions

User accounts are migrated according to the resource groups that were allocated in Device

Manager, as well as the Tiered Storage Manager permissions remaining the same.

• When users do not have Device Manager permissions

Tiered Storage Manager permissions are kept the same, but the following settings are required

in from the GUI prior to operation:

• User accounts must be registered into user groups.

• All Resources must be assigned to user groups as a Device Manager resource group.

• Roles for Device Manager must be set.
