• The storage administrator and account administrator use a management client terminal on an
external network to access the management server and send operation requests to the storage
management software.
The machine models that can be used for a management server vary depending on the prerequisite
operating system. The following lists the prerequisite operating systems and the applicable machine
models for each.

In Windows
The applicable models are the models of the following series on which Windows, when indicated as
a prerequisite operating system for management servers in section 2-2 , runs:
• HP BladeSystem series, HP ProLiant, HP or Non-HP PC/AT compatible machine
Minimum requirements are as follows:
CPU clock: 2 GHz
Memory: 2 GB
Disk space: 5 GB
