6-2-7 Changing the Device Manager Server Keystore Password
1. Open a command line or terminal window and launch HiKeytool (refer to section 6-2-1 for
instructions).
2. From HiKeytool, type 9 (Change Device Manager Server Keystore Password), and then press
the Enter key.
3. Type the current keystore password, and then press the Enter key (see Figure 6-17).
4. You will be prompted for your new password. (see
Figure 6-18). This password is case-
sensitive.
CAUTION: Make sure to enter only characters (A-Z, a-z), numbers (0-9) or white space, or you can render
your keystore unusable.
5. Type the new password , and then press the Enter key (see Figure 6-19).
6. Confirm the new password (see
Figure 6-19).
7. You will have to restart the server for the changes to be effective.
