Component Network Port Description
23011/tcp Used for the Device Manager agent
HTTP (web) server. You can change
the port after installation using the
server.http.port property. For details,
see section 7-2-3).
23012/tcp Used for communication between the
Device Manager agent’s daemon
process and the web server process.
You can change this port by modifying
the server.http.localPort property file.

23013/tcp Used for Device Manager agent’s
daemon process (or service). You can
change the port using the
server.agent.port property.
23015/tcp Used by the Device Manager server
to access non-SSL Common Web
Service. If you want to change this
port number, see section 4-4-2.
23016/tcp Used by web browsers to access SSL
Common Web Service. If you want to
change this port number after
installation, see section 4-4-2. (Device
Manager does not use this port).
23017/tcp Used by the Common Web Service to
access Single Sign-On Service
through an AJP connection. If you
want to change this port number after
installation, see section 4-4-2.
23018/tcp Used by the Single Sign-On Service
to receive a stop request. If you want
to change this port number after
installation, see section 4-4-2.
Command View XP AE Suite
Common Component.
23032/tcp Used by HiRDB. If you want to
change this port number after
installation, see section 4-4-2.
4-4-2 Changing Common Component Ports
After installing Device Manager, if you want to change any of the ports used by Common Component,
use the following procedure:
1. Stop the services of other Command View XP AE
Suite products.
2. Stop the Device Manager server. Refer to section
3-6-2 (for Windows
®
) if you need instructions.
3. Stop Common Component. See section
4-2-2 if you need instructions.
4. Edit the setup file, and change the port number. For details about each port’s setup file, see
sections
4-4-2-1 to 4-4-2-5 below.
5. Start Common Component. See section
4-2-1 if you need instructions.
6. Start the Device Manager server. See section
3-6-1 if you need instructions.
7. Start the services of Command View XP AE
Suite products.
8. For details about starting the services of other Command View XP AE
Suite products, see the
manual for each product.
