Fixes
Fixes for 7.4.1-00
The following issues were resolved:
• When a local Device Manager server manages a large number of hosts, task operations complete
in a reasonable timeframe.
• The results of operations performed on a remote copy pair managed by the Business Continuity
Manager can now be applied correctly to LDEVs in Storage Systems view.
• The Pair Configurations view no longer displays Unknown as the status of a Fast Snap/Snapshot
copy pair.
• Replication Manager CLI commands executed by a user who has administrator privileges no
longer generate the KAVX00178-E message.
• If you create or edit a task, the window indicating that task creation or task editing is complete
appears within a reasonable timeframe.
• If you reverse the copy direction for a remote copy pair managed by the Business Continuity
Manager, and then split the copy pair, Storage view in the local Device Manager now displays
the pair information, even if you execute a restoration.
• If you execute 10 or more open-system tasks simultaneously, all tasks after the ninth task now
properly execute, and the correct status appears for the tasks.
• In the Pair Configuration Wizard, if you create a new copy pair by specifying Auto (the default
value) for the mirror descriptor, an overlapping value is not set for the mirror descriptor. The copy
pair configuration file can now be created correctly.
• Even if you execute several open-system tasks simultaneously, the Replication Manager window
now operates properly.
• When you create a remote path from HP XP P9500 Storage, the remote path creation does not
generate the KAVN00605-E [RPM-01004] (KAIC07285-E) message, and n/a does not
appear for a port number of an existing remote path.
• In Storage Systems view or Hosts view, if you select Paired from LUNs and click a link for a LUN,
the display of Pair Relationship no longer generates the RPM-00821 error message, and the
requested information appears properly.
